Toronto's Roncesvalles is into the second phase of its reconstruction. Roncesvalles Renewed is a group of residents, business owners, politicians, city planners, and transportation officials working together.
Our key priority was to ensure that plans include the conditions necessary for trees to flourish. We also planned for better sidewalks and improved public spaces to create an avenue that all would enjoy. These plans are now undersay. To show your support for a great street and to help our businesses get through this final phase, please buy and dine locally.

If you wish to help with the next phase of planning for Roncesvalles Renewed. Please join us at the home of Ann and John Senders, on Thursday, November 12th, at 7pm.
The Environmental Assessment for the new Roncesvalles streetscape is now with the province, and the city is proceeding with detailed plans for the revised streetscape, including transit platforms, a reduction in travel lanes, and increases in public space. Construction is expected to begin in the spring.
The city is interested in community input on some of the design details. Many of these have been determined and others are limited by budgets. Nonetheless, we have an opportunity to contribute our input on issues such as tree location, pedestrian crossings, public realm improvements and others.
The meeting will begin with a brief update. Then we will begin a facilitated discussion aiming to provide the city with some clear recommendations.
