Toronto's Roncesvalles is into the second phase of its reconstruction. Roncesvalles Renewed is a group of residents, business owners, politicians, city planners, and transportation officials working together.
Our key priority was to ensure that plans include the conditions necessary for trees to flourish. We also planned for better sidewalks and improved public spaces to create an avenue that all would enjoy. These plans are now undersay. To show your support for a great street and to help our businesses get through this final phase, please buy and dine locally.

The Public Realm Section of Toronto's giant Transportation Division is now managing the design process for our new Roncesvalles, a task that until now was assigned to the Economic Development office. The change, along with comes project design leader Elyse Parker, is welcome news for the future of the trees and pedestrian spaces on our Avenue.

The City of Toronto invites you to provide input into the streetscape elements proposed as part of the Roncesvalles Avenue reconstruction.
DATE: Monday September 21, 2009
TIME: 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
PLACE: High Park Baptist Church, 9 Hewitt Ave
During this community consultation, city staff will be available to discuss your ideas related to streetscape elements within the scope of the selected Environmental Assessment option. Discussion is intended to focus on design elements such as: trees, TTC platform design (including cycling area), gateway locations, sidewalk treatment, street furniture and others.
